A whole lot of laughs. An even bigger heart. One unforgettable guy.

Mike Fedele Legacy Foundation — keeping his spirit alive.

Michael Fedele was truly one of a kind. Larger than life, quick with a joke (and usually a few choice words), he had a way of making just about everything more entertaining.

He loved his family and friends fiercely, never met an animal he couldn't charm, and left everyone with at least one story they'll never forget.

Michael’s Eulogy

Written and delivered by his sister, Stephanie.

Prepare for some profanity, but not nearly as much as you’d have to to be around him.

The hardest part of writing this Besides having to do it at all Is trying to decide where to even begin (This is the part where Michael would grab me alcohol)

So how do I even begin to tell you The kind of man that Michael was A vibrant, hilarious, life of the party Even without a buzz

The kind that would sing at the top of his lungs At karaoke at a bar And not care at all what anyone thought Because he was a friggin rock star

The animal lover that never met A dog that wasn't obsessed He even had the ducks respond to his quack You couldn't help but be impressed

He truly was a jack of all trades And I'd say a master of some But honestly everywhere that he went He just made it that much more fun.

A professional gambler, A salesman too Photo Booth owner Just to name a few

A construction worker, For the best company there is Who loved the work but, that 7 am start He tried HARD to get noon to be his

A collegiate football player whose Enthusiasm exceeded his skill But as the soccer goalie or on the wrestling mat, That’s where he made his kills

Thinking about my brother I must honestly convey You'll bring up his name and never hear Anything bad to say

You'll most likely get an immediate laugh A Fedele story of their own Of some dumb shit he’s done or said or joked His effect on this world has been shown

I could be a cliche and say he lit up the room But that wouldn't do it justice The amount of people's lives he touched Almost as much as he said the word "F*#@" is

He had such comedic timing A sense of humor like no other He was so quick witted and that sarcasm We all know he got from his mother

And his stubbornness and loyalty He got from his dad And even when they butted heads No greater love was had

A metro fashionista, And mom’s Mickey Moo Who always liked to plan his outfits To pop those baby blues

Unless of course he was staying in It would be quite a different dress He lived in his bathrobe and wore it proudly Definitely something you might not have guessed

He truly loved taking photos Capturing so many moments and treasures And the selfies that we've come across Way more than we want to measure

And when we were on the job site And I wanted to get a pic He said wait let me pose with one of the tools Or behind the truck so I don't look thick

He also was always recording videos He got every Happy Birthday Of him singing super loud and off key Followed by a drawn out Yaaaaaay

And don't forget about that toothpick He always had in his teeth Or when he was the best man And straight up roasted Kim and Keith

I don't know if it's possible to count How many meals we ate Where we all sat down at the table and Michael paced around with a paper plate

He was always on the move You'd never see him sit still DJing, cracking jokes, busting balls That was the way that he'd chill

If you had to wait for him When Michael was in the shower You'd know you weren't going to leave For at the very least an hour

But if you called to check on him Don't worry he would say I just got on 95 I'm definitely on my way

But he'd still be in that shower Or should I say the recording booth The walls would shake as he would sing That's the God's honest truth

The radio would blast While he'd belt out a number And then a random F Bomb Would wake you from your slumber

We'd laughingly say he was tourettes adjacent There was absolutely zero restraint He'd splatter those curses into any conversation Like Jackson Pollock did paint

And I know I've read in an article That its the most intelligent people who swear So Michael could have been in Mensa But I think one of their requirements was hair

That verse could bring me to two different things That we truly loved about Mike His smart, competitive brain Or his failing baldness fight

Tell me you've seen anyone else That could put a fedora on And not look like a complete douchebag I bet you can't name one!

But he rocked the shit out of all of his hats A cap, a Jeff, a fedora, And bandanas for days, and cut off sleeves Just became a part of his aura

Now back to that brain of his And his sense of competition Catching up on jeopardy with him Became a bit of a tradition

We'd get more than a little intense When any trivia was at play They never put us on the same team Or it would have been a runaway

It went as far back as school times And I know he's hating me for this But I just have to bring up My SAT score was higher than his

I'll never forget when I told him And I assume he called me a bitch But he was the proudest and most supportive big brother And I was so proud to be his sis

It takes a special kind of man Who was never too cool or sly To end every single phone call With love ya, Bye

I'll never forget the one time We hung up with love ya bye And someone had assumed It was my boyfriend on the line

I told them it was my brother And they were incredulous I realized then how lucky I was Not all families have a love like this

I remember when he'd call me And Mark would always say Oh is that Michael, this will be hours Then he'd walk away

I am so grateful for those calls Of catching up and shooting the shit And occasionally naming more tunes than I could Maybe more than I'd like to admit

And no one knew how to pick out A Pump up song quite like him To a mud run, a wedding, a sporting event Didn't matter, we were getting a WIN

He taught his god daughter how to drive And we'll never forgive him for that transgression Though her road rage isn’t nearly as bad He almost fought someone in Chaz’s funeral procession

He'd be there to take Chazzy to football practice Driving all the way from Delco And to work some photo booth events with him Rapping Eminem like a damn pro

Club and Freestyle Music, He’d listen and bond with Kim And was always there to take her friends to dances How very selfless of him

No matter what, he looked out for Keith At North and then beyond They went from fighting in their bunk beds To an unbreakable, brotherly bond

He’d pop over to the house If something needed to be fixed Or to help you hook up tech Or give his best sports betting picks

You always knew if you needed him No matter what he'd be there Even if it was 6 hours later “So much traffic guys, I swear”

What time is Christmas dinner this year? Well the real time or what we told you We had to pad it to Mike standard time We'd tell him 12 when it was actually 2

And he always gave the best presents So personal, thoughtful, Just great And the most hilarious birthday cards Even if they were a month or two late

And the fun, noisy, loud gifts For KJ, Gianna and Vin Super soakers and nerf guns Enough for everyone to shoot to win

And while our hearts have been utterly Ripped out from our chest We have so so many memories And I’m grateful, they’re the best

I'll never forget when mom saw a mouse Dad sent him to "rescue" her and me He came in singing at the top of his lungs M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E

And that day Mom and Dad were in church Wearing an old school Nextel When a chirp came across from the jobsite Of just straight obscenities and yells

Or the time on vacation down the shore On the go kart track He got air down the hill, went completely off course We could barely get him back!

And that nervous laughter that he'd get When he was in trouble or something was wrong Mom and dad would tell him to stop But the chuckle went on and on

How about when he’d call to say He couldn’t drive his car Well what happened mike? Well I was late for class and it just got booted No idea why, how bizarre!

Or when he and Bree came over to listen to songs To plan my wedding playlist And we sang so loud and Bree and I rapped And he couldn’t have been more impressed

When we suffered a devastating loss And didn't know how we would go on He stepped up for his family Niece and nephew, now like daughter and son

And we must take comfort in knowing The many that welcomed him home I know Chaz was there with him To make sure he wasn’t alone

We’ve all cried a ton from this immeasurable loss Of a son, brother, uncle and friend But we’ll smile and laugh even more than those tears Because our love for him is without end

And the impact he left on all that he met Will be felt every single day He’ll be with us in nature, with animals, a rainbow A song that will randomly play

So please when you think of Michael And how he was taken far far too soon Try not to let the heartbreak Overtake the room

Be grateful that we were blessed with someone like him in our lives And we who knew and loved him Will make sure his memory survives

For even though we are broken We are truly lucky because We got to experience this once in a lifetime Kind of man Michael was

Genuine Love

Patience wasn't typically Michael's strong suit.

But when Snickers got older and their walks down his parents' driveway became slower, Michael slowed down with her. He never rushed her. He let her take her time, however long that took.

Because genuine love isn't always about grand gestures. Sometimes it's something as simple as slowing down for someone who can't keep up anymore.

It's the kind of love that shows up, listens, waits, and stays.

More of Mike

A few more moments, captured along the way.
